Mali's first birthday party!

We had a great party for Mali, full of yummy food, cake, family, and presents. He was feeling a lot better then he was two days before, on his birthday. I was so glad, because I wanted him to be able to enjoy his first birthday party. It was fun when the kids all encircled Mali when he opened his presents. He got a little annoyed and started screaming at the kids. We got him the basketball hoop, that everyone ended up loving. Pour Mali has to fight for his birthday present. I'm just glad that he likes it so much. He knew exactly what to do with it, right away he made two baskets. I made him a Care Bear cake, which he picked out himself. It took me hours to make it, and he destroyed it within a few minutes. He loved it. It was so cute, seeing him attack it. Aren't first birthdays fun! Thanks to our wonderful family for coming to celebrate the birth of our sweet little Mali, and for bringing yummy food and great presents.

Really enjoying the art during Art City Days.

Before Malalai's birthday party on Saturday June 14th, we took the kids to the parade in the morning and then walked around town, taking silly pictures on the statues rather than riding the carnival rides. Its so funny the simple pleasures we get when we don't have any money. Oh and by the way, Curtis is a big fish in this last picture. It was Mali's first parade and he really liked it. You can tell from his pictures. He kept smiling and pointing. It was so cute!

I can't believe my baby is one!!

Happy birthday my sweet little Mali. You are so precious to me. Just thinking about you puts a huge smile on my face. I love your silly big smile. And I love your big brown puppy dog eyes that are just like your daddies. I love all your big features. You are such a handsome little man. I feel so blessed that you joined our family one year ago. I will love you always and forever.

My sweet little baby Mali, just turned one on June 12th. I can't believe that it has already been one year. Time just keeps going faster and faster. I guess we are just having more fun, yah right, just a lot more busy, but still trying to have fun at the same time. Anyways, it was really sad, because Mali was so sick on his birthday. He just laid around all day, which is not normal for him. He is usually such an active little man. The only time that he became his self again is when we blew up a bunch of balloons. (Thanks to my brothers Jacob and Bryson for helping us.) He had so much fun playing with them. So luckily I got some fun pictures of him. We decided to wait until the 14th to have a birthday party for Mali, hoping that he would feel better, so he could enjoy opening presents and digging into cake.

We got an offer!!

Hooray, we got a great offer on our home, which we have accepted, and only after about 2 weeks. Which is pretty good considering how the market is right now. We were getting a lot of showings, which was great but very stressful; trying to keep the house perfectly clean. But I have been really enjoying living in a clean house. So hopefully it all works out, and by the first of July, we will be in a new place, not our new home though. It will not be done until probably September. So we have to figure out were to live in the mean time. Kind of stressful! But I'm trying not to stress out, because some how it will all work out. I know the Lord is watching over us, and helping us. We have to redo one side of our roof, before we sell, but the Lord has sent us Curtis' uncle Vince, who knows how to do roofs, and is willing to help us out. He took Curtis on a "Shopping spree" all day today for shingles, and roof stuff. So tomorrow they are going to start on it. We will be saving a lot of money doing it ourselves. Thank goodness for family!
