Happy Birthday Dasan!

It was Dasan's 9th birthday on January 7th. I cant believe my first baby is getting so big. What a joy to watch my handsome son grow up and become such a smart and good boy. I love you so much Dasan, I wish you a wonderful year being 9.

Dase got to light his own candles. It took awhile, and he almost burnt his fingers, but he was so cute, looking so grown up.

Dasan got a wonderful gift from his Grandpa Walker. He talked to him about how important it is for him to learn about his culture and where he comes from. Not only on his dads side but also on his moms side. And how important it is for him to stay active in the church and prepare for a mission like his daddy. Then he sang Dasan a song that he had written. It was a wonderful moment. The kids all were very quiet and listened intently to their grandpa.

Dasans uncles came the next day with birthday cards in hand, that they had made for Dasan. Tyler also made an awesome work of art for Dasan.

Sisters Party in Ogden

On Friday January 2nd, my Mom and Shanae had to go to Ogden to decorate for a wedding, so Heidi, Adrianne and I went with and made a sisters party out of it. My mom got a hotel with a pool for us, and paid for our dinner at Golden Corral for helping her decorate. After we helped decorate, we had fun playing games and watching movies and of coarse eating treats, late into the night. I love spending time with "my girls". Saturday we hung out in the hot tub and we got to eat at Sizzler. It was a really fun weekend, and a nice get away, but I couldn't wait to get home to my little stinkers. Being able to get away and have a break, makes me appreciate my children more, and it helps me be able to go back to being a mom, and house wife, without feeling resentful about all the work that comes with it.

Eating at Golden Corral

Gab got to come hang out with the girls. Hes eating a lemon in this pic and it hardly fazed him. He loved it.

My Mom and Shanae are partners in their wedding decorating business, called Yours Truly Decor.

This business used to be owned and was created by my Uncle Terry and his wife Peggy. My uncle made this beautiful backdrop. I love it. They collected such beautiful decor. Its fun to decorate with such beautiful things.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone. Can you believe that it is already 2009. Time sure flies. Curtis and I had a really fun New Years Eve. We got to go to a dance where David Archuleta sang. It was so much fun to dance together while waiting for David to come on stage. We were so close to the stage. David even sang right to me. He is such a cutie. A nice photographer even took my camera on stage and got some close shots for me. It was awesome. Right after David sang, it was time for the count down. And we got a shot of our first kiss of the New Year. Then Curtis and I went to Denny's and just enjoyed being together and talking. It was a great start of a New Year, and I have high hopes for 2009.

Big Bentley Family Christmas Party

There was yummy food, and great performances and of coarse we love the Grandpa gifts that the kids get every year, thanks Grandpa and Grandma. And after everything we had fun visiting and the boys had fun playing basketball.
