Christmas Eve and Christmas

I made a big dinner for just our little family on Christmas Eve. It was a really yummy turkey dinner. Then we drove around looking at lights. When we got home, we were surprised by some Christmas Carolers, my family, who brought us fun gifts, which I made the kids wait until Christmas morning to open. Although, I did let the kids open one present which was their Christmas Pajamas. Then we played games and watched movies, until midnight. It was a really fun relaxing evening. Of coarse I had to stay up too late, getting all the presents ready. So in the morning the kids had to drag me out of bed, but they were really nice, they sleep until about 9:00. We just had fun opening presents and enjoying our toys all day. I got to take a long nap, which was nice. Then we went to visit my Grandma Williams, and also saw my family there. Then we went to Curtis and Pennys for dinner and got some great presents. We didn't know if we would make it home, because a huge storm blew in, but we slowly made it home. It ended up being a really great Christmas.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Temple Square

For our Bentley Family Christmas party my mom decided to have us take a little trip down town to Temple Square. It was so cold and crowded, but very beautiful. I'm so glad that we made it there this year. It's been a couple of years since we've been there during Christmas. It was so nice to see all the Nativity Scenes to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.

Ten Year Wedding Anniversary

Curtis and I just had our 10 year wedding anniversary on December 18th. I cant believe that we have been married for 10 years. It feels like the time went so fast, but on the other hand it feels like I have known Curtis forever. I am so happy that I chose to marry Curtis. He is a wonderful man. He is so caring, loving, and humble. He always says he is sorry if he does something to make me sad. I appreciate it that so much. I love that we know how to work things out if we have a problem, even if its really hard at times. I feel that we can get through anything together, because we love each other and are willing to compromise. This year especially has been really hard and stressful in our marriage, but we have worked it out and are really happy right now. I still get butterflies when I look at him, because he is so handsome and sexy to me. He is so fun to be around, he makes me laugh all the time.

Curtis, thank you for asking me to marry you and for being patient with me. Thanks for talking with me and working things out, when we have problems. You are so good and handsome. Thanks for working so hard for me and our family. Thanks for being such a wonderful father. The kids love you so much. It feels so good to see how great you are with the kids. I love you so much, always and forever.

The sunset was so beautiful, when we were driving to Rodizio Grill for our 10th anniversary date. After that we went to a movie. It was so fun just being together and feeling young and carefree.

These are some pages I did for a book I made about Curtis and me.

Curtis and I met in a Dating and Courtship class at the Institute at Utah Valley State College in August of 1997. Curtis took the class only because his friend wanted him to take it with him. The first day of class we noticed each other. One day I walked into class and noticed that Curtis and his friend had left an empty seat between them. I knew it was for me. So I sat there. And that is the first time we talked. We introduced ourselves to each other. It is so fun to hear Curtis' side of the story now. He told me that him and his friend both liked me and Curtis said it was his idea to leave a seat for me in between them. His friend didn't think that I would know it was for me, but Curtis knew that I would know. Curtis was right. I feel that our spirits knew one another. We were just so drawn to each other. It took awhile for us to start dating. Curtis realized that I was still so young, and wasn't ready to settle down and date just one person, and Curtis was. So nine months later is when we started dating. We dated seriously for about 3 months and on my birthday, September 23, 1998, Curtis asked me to marry him. And three months later we were married in the Salt Lake Temple on a freezing cold day, on December 18, 1998. That day was wonderful. I still remember feeling like I was on cloud nine. I was really nervous about getting married, but I am so glad that I did. It is the best thing that I ever did.

Girls Night Out...Dancing!

My sisters, Mom, and I love GIRLS NIGHT OUTS! We are having so much fun being able to get away a couple of times a month, (once a week if we are lucky), to just hang out with the girls. It doesn't really matter what we do, we always have so much fun together. This time we went to Natalie's house and danced. We had fun doing different poses just for the pictures. Then we played games late into the night. Thanks girls for all the fun times we have together. I love you all so much.

I love dancing again. I've been taking dance from my aunt Jane, with some of my cousins, and aunts. I am having so much fun. I had kind of given up on ever dancing again. But I'm so glad that I have started up again. It's great exercise, something I totally needed. And for a wonderful bonus, I'm starting to lose weight. Hurray!!!!!!!

Alyssa was dancing right along with us. She is so cute.

This is what I came home to after my Girls Night. Aren't they so cute. Curtis is so wonderful to let me have a break. He can even get Malakai asleep now. Hurray!

Yearly Christmas Dinner

My friends from High School, Christine, Danyette, and Laura, and I still get together for Christmas every year, and exchange Christmas gifts. It is a tradition that I really look forward to. It is so fun to see them and get caught up on each others lives, since we don't get to see each other as often as we would like. They always give such great gifts. Thanks girls for keeping up this great tradition and for being such great friends.

Wise Babes

Curtis and I are Nursery Leaders in our ward. We have a big class, but the kids are really cute, and we are really enjoying serving in this calling. We decided to takes pictures of the cute kids and make ornaments for Christmas. So we took picture of our family too.

Trolley Ride at Thanksgiving Point

Thanks Nate and Tasha for planning such a fun night for us. We got to ride a Trolley around Thanksgiving Point, looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights. The kids loved it.

After being out in the cold, we went to Grandpa and Grandma Walkers house to warm up with hot chocolate and treats, and we got to decorate a Gingerbread house, which we all had fun doing.
Malakai loves his cousin, Kolson. They were both being so cute, and entertaining all of us.
