Restoring Old Photos

I've been busy restoring old photos of Curtis' family and mom,
who passed away a few years ago.

It's been really fun!

I didn't know if I'd be able to do this one, because it was really damaged,
but I think it came out good.

I hope!

Curtis' First Birthday
Here is an adorable pic of my Curtis at 1 years old.

I love it!
I love to stare at it and imagine what he was like at 1.

I'm sure he was a little stinker, just like our little boys,

but so very lovable.

Curtis' Baptism

I think he looks a lot like Dasan in this pic.

I like how it turned out.

I have tons more that I'll share at a later time, stay tuned.

Baby Kendal is so precious!

My sister Heidi asked me to take her baby's pics. I don't usually take baby pictures, but I decided to give it a try and I got this really cute metal tub, which I think turned out really cute. It was really fun. At first Kendal didn't want to cooperate, but towards the end, he got tired and fell asleep letting us position him in different poses. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and I'm sad that I never tried this with my own babies. Thanks to Janae Cooper whom I got inspiration from, she does great baby portraits.

Grandma Williams Funeral

Grandmas funeral was so beautiful, just like her. It was so nice to hear about her life and be reminded that she was such an amazing person, who lived a good long life, and raised wonderful children. It is so amazing to think that she was alive to see over 100 of her descendants. What a blessing it has been to me to have had her in my life. I will always love her and miss her and try to follow her wonderful example through out my life.

After the prayer, my mom and her sisters started singing hymns that Grandma had loved. So, many of us joined in. Even though we didn't know all the words, it was fun and we could picture Grandma smiling and enjoying every minute of it.

Dasan with Tristan

My cousin Sharese and me. She has always been like my big sister, helping me and giving me advise in so many aspects of life. I remember, she gave me my first bra. And she still gives me make-up, clothes, and shoes. She is so much fun and we have so many of the same interests. I look up to her so much and love her forever.

My Sweet Grandma

On March 6th, my sweet Grandma finished her journey here on earth and passed on into the Spirit world, where my Grandpa awaited her with open arms. I love to imagine what their reunion was like. It gives me so much comfort to think about how happy they are. Not only was my Grandpa there to welcome her into heaven, but also their children Lynn and Todd. What a wonderful moment! I'm so happy for her to also be with her Mother again, who died when Grandma was only 2.

I feel so blessed to have had my Grandma in my life. She was such a wonderful Grandma. She was so good at showing all of us love. She made me feel like I was her favorite, which I'm sure she did to every one of us. She did so much for me through out all of my life. One memory that I cherish is when ever I had a baby she let me come stay in her home for a few nights so I could just relax and enjoy my baby, and so she could enjoy my baby too. She loved my babies so much. When Dasan was a baby Grandma thought he was so cute, she said, "Oh he is just so damn cute." That made me laugh so hard. I had never heard Grandma swear before. Grandma and Grandpa were such a wonderful example of how a marriage should be. They loved each other so much and served each other for over 60 years. I love them and miss them so much. But I am so happy for them to be back in each others arms, never to be separated again.

Here are a few of the pictures from Grandpas funeral in July of 2008. Grandma had such a hard time. She missed him so much and couldn't wait to be with him again. It took 8 months. On Valentines day she had had a big stroke and so we went to see her, because we didn't know how long she had. She told me she was going to go be with Grandpa. She was so sad that she wasn't able to go see him that day.

What a spiritual week I had. I got to see the birth of my nephew Kendal and two days later I got to be there for my Grandmothers death. It really is a special experience, full of love and comfort. It really helps you realize that it is all part of Heavenly Fathers plan, and even though we have to deal with death, He loves us so much and wants us to be comforted and happy, and know that we will see our loved ones again.

Baby Kendal has arrived

My sister Heidi had her beautiful baby boy on March 4, 2009 at about 8:30 in the morning. I had the privilege of being there for the birth. Heidi did amazingly and it was so fast. Everything went so well and baby Kendal is so perfect. That was the first of Heidis births that I made it to. I missed the other two. I love watching the births of these precious little angels. I get so emotional every time. It is truly amazing. I have been to 10 births now, including my own. I love babies so much, and I hope to be able to go to many more births, even if I don't have anymore.

Kendal was so sweetly cuddled in his fathers arms as we admired him.

I think he got sick of my flash.

I love this shot, because baby Kendal is looking at his big brother Coden. So sweet!

Cute Mecham family. Three boys, I can't believe it.

My mom is such a proud Grandmother, and mother. And Adrianne, Shanae and I are proud aunts.
